Braces for under 10s
Orthodontic treatment isn’t just for teens. In fact, starting treatment young can save you a lot of time and money on treatment in your child’s teenage years.

When should my child visit an orthodontist?
It is recommended for children to visit an orthodontist for an early consultation around the age of 7 years old. At this age, the back bite of your child’s smile is established and we can diagnose orthodontic issues before they begin or worsen.
Your child may not need to start treatment at this young age, but we can continue to monitor their smile and intervene at the optimal time.

Early interventive treatment
At Helix House Orthodontics, there are a lot of treatments we can use for small children. We can use functional appliances, fixed braces, and even special Invisalign® clear aligners called Invisalign® First, made specifically for children.
